Ever since its phenomenally successful IntoxicatingVR event, the Microsoft Innovation Center at FlatironCity in downtown Atlanta has been the place for VR. Now join some of the region's most innovative VR game developers as they describe how to create the next generation of VR games. Our panelists include representatives from Tripwire Interactive, Pulseworks, Furious Union and more.

John Gibson

John Gibson, president of Tripwire Interactive, has been key to the successful Red Orchestra, Killing Floor and Rising Storm games. Their latest venture into virtual reality, Killing Floor: Incursion, is already one of the most anticipated Oculus titles.

Orion Cherry

Orion Cherry began his career as a level designer at Ignition Florida and has since shifted focus to overall game design, art and production. In 2009 Orion began the content development department for Pulseworks that would produce rides, interactive games, and VR content for full motion simulators (both interactive and passive). Pulseworks runs ticketed motion experiences around the country at locations such as Broadway At The Beach, Museum of Science and Industry and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Rob Shepps

Creative director at Primal Screen and owner of Furious Union, Shepps released Mega Spacehole, one of Georgia's first virtual reality games, and continues to develop more.

Ian Philpot

Ian Philpot is an adept software developer and technologist. He’s worked on Emmy award winning projects and with customers around the globe. Cloud technologies are his focus and passion. When he’s not behind a computer you’ll find him on a trail, hanging on to his bike or out of breath trying to run.
